The Texpertise Network Newsroom went online in January 2018. This news platform focuses on the 50-plus international trade shows of Messe Frankfurt and current developments in the industry.

50 textile trade shows worldwide attracting more than 22,000 exhibitors and 523,000 visitors with their topics, trends and contacts. Messe Frankfurt generates news about every single one of these trade shows every season in the form of press releases, specialist articles and social media posts. Our brief was to work out how this information could be successfully packaged and made available to an international community all year round.

Full service: From the layout to journalistic creation

 

Together with the decision-makers at Messe Frankfurt we came up with the idea of a newsroom – a platform designed to appeal to journalists, exhibitors and trade visitors alike and to awaken their curiosity. The newsroom primarily publishes relevant information from the international network of textile trade shows. At the same time, the platform aims to back this up with reports on current market developments, trends and news items that are relevant to the textile and garment industry. As communications consultants we are responsible for the project, which includes everything from the concept to the layout and journalistic work.

News by textile experts, for textile experts

 

The Texpertise Network Newsroom publishes an average of three news items every week, in both German and English. These include so-called top news items and background articles exclusively researched for Messe Frankfurt. Search functions and thematic clusters enable the reader to find content they are interested in quickly and easily. In addition, the most important news is summarised in a newsletter which is published every quarter. By textile experts, for textile experts – the Texpertise Network Newsroom has developed into an important news platform in a very short time.
